FretTrack Beta and shop bench updates:
So the past few weeks have been extremely fun filled (not really) with getting FretTrack to 0.3.0 beta candidate and keeping Reddit, Facebook, my own brain, Discord, all the other projects I have swirling around, up to date. Most shop bench updates have been posted straight to Facebook.
Right now I'm juggling:
FretTrack - FretTrack is currently in the late v0.2 beta stage and approaching the v0.3.0 Operational Shop Release milestone. The platform now supports customer management, repair jobs, damage mapping, photo documentation, work logs, inventory tracking, scheduling, role-based permissions, email communications, and multi-shop architecture. Recent work added premium entitlement foundations, advanced reporting, save-protection safeguards, and improved beta-user notification workflows. The application is deployed, operational, and receiving external beta testing feedback, with current development focused on workflow refinement, reporting enhancements, customer portal planning, and production readiness.

AI1SAD is now a functioning marine operational-intelligence platform rather than a simple shark-incident database. The backend combines historical incidents, regional packs, environmental signals, biological events, human exposure, fishing activity, kelp habitat, Hawaii reef/channel mapping, tide/current context, and water-clarity baselines into bounded warning and surveillance-priority outputs. It is deliberately designed to support operational monitoring, not claim individual attack prediction or infer shark intent.
The platform includes replay analysis, quiet-day comparisons, explainability, alert handling, provider health, regional intelligence packs, and a frontend dashboard with an interactive Leaflet map, scenario overlays, “Why This Zone?” panels, branded visuals, and a one-click local launcher. A MkDocs portal documents the API, model boundaries, replay library, providers, deployment, safety rules, and current roadmap.
Validated replay case studies now cover Horseshoe Reef, Queensland, Cromwell’s Beach, Greater Recife, Plumpudding Beach, and other demo scenarios. The latest uncommitted work adds two additional active-event replays: the Michaelmas Island fatal spearfishing incident in Western Australia and the Lovers Point whale-carcass closure in Pacific Grove, California.
The next planned phase is live sightings and surf-line observation ingestion, allowing lifeguard, drone, and public reports to raise surveillance priority in near real time.

Reddit App - WROSE Sentinel
WROSE’s external engine is built and stable: FastAPI, SQLite, signal scoring, replay routes, dashboard, tests, and documentation all pass. The Reddit-native WROSE Sentinel app also works in Demo Mode with moderator-only actions for Analyze Thread, Volatility Check, and Capabilities. Its modal output was compacted and made readable, and safety remains strict: automated_action_taken: false, with no destructive moderation actions. Live backend fetch was blocked because Reddit rejected both ngrok and private-domain access requests. The next move is Phase 2I: port a lightweight native scoring adapter into Devvit while preserving the external backend as the research and analytics engine.
